Custers Last Sitting
General George Armstrong Custer, is famously known for his attack on the Indian settlement to stand in battle against Northern plain Sioux lead by chief Sitting Bull. The event was known as "the battle of the little Big horn". Those who new Custer best were most familiar with how much he enjoyed "Sitting" for his portrait to be taken. This may not have been the last picture taken of him before he was defeated in battle, but it could have been...who knows?
